1- What Axel hear when he came to himself?

He heard a noise of waves crashing on the shore of a sea and his uncle's voice .

2- Why did the professor ask Axel to call him?

To calculate the distance between them .

3- How far were they apart?

Axel was six kilometers away from his uncle .

4- What happened to Axel as he was walking down a passage? Why?

He fell down a well and his head hit a sharp rock, so

he fainted . He fell down be cause the slope was very steep .
5- What did the professor call the sea they had found? He called it " Lidenbrock sea " .

6- What did Axel and the professor find along the shore of the sea?

They found giant mushrooms, bones of extinct animals and plants taller than plants on the surface of the earth .

7- Who made the raft ? Why?
Hans made it to cross the Lidenbrock

8- How did Hans make the raft?

He cut down some trees and tied them together .

9- How did the characters cross the sea?

By the raft.

10- What did Hans catch in the Lidenbrock Sea ? He caught a strange fish . It had a flat head with no tail or eyes .

11- How did the professor know that the sea was deep?

He threw a pickaxe tide to a rope in the water but it didn't reach the bottom .

12- What did the two monsters do in the water?

They attacked each other and one of them killed the other.
